Simple system for getting great content for your blog and or social media channels to help grow your audience
How to find great website, Blog and social media content easily every day
CR4L run social media campaigns for business but what we love to do is teach companies to do it for themselves. We offer guidance and assistance, training and systems, we hold peoples hands and help them run campaigns.
But the best social media and blog content comes from the employees and stakeholders themselves. Its more authentic and relates to the audience better.
The biggest hurdle for most people is knowing what to write about. It can be had to come up with new content and ideas - especially on a daily basis.
So here we have laid out a simple system to help you add relevant and useful content daily and engage with your audience.
Then you can set the region; be specific if you service one geographical area perhaps or use the whole world wide web. the frequency is up to you. I recommend putting some time aside each day to update your social media so a daily setting is best.
I normally have 4 or 5 alerts set to bring me relevant content. I scan through, mostly looking to blogs, for interesting articles. I click through to them, have a quick read and if I think that my audience will either enjoy reading them or get something out of it I will post them to my social media channels or websites.
All you do is link your channels, like LinkedIn and Twitter and then you can send out to them all form one handy place. You can also program messages to go out later in the day, at key times or on several days ahead.
3 Simple steps to social media success...
So the steps for social media success are:
1. Find great content to share with and help others (your audience)
2. comment on that content and get involved
3. LISTEN (very important step) - watch people's reactions and comment
Social media is a conversation; be part of it and contribute to it
Don't spend your time talking about you and your business. Instead try and help others. Find useful articles and content that will help or at least amuse your audience. If they like it they will share it. If they share it you reach a wider audience and your following will grow.
Start conversations, join in with them, be of help and value. you may start a conversation but you can't control it or where i t ends up. That is fine. Companies who try and control what people say about them are not engaging with their audience. They are in broadcast mode.
Let people have free reign and ownership. they will be more enthusiastic and appreciate it. it may lead to new places and it will certainly lead to new connections and future business.
